- Salary of $100,894 - $114,476 plus superannuation

Community Correctional Services (CCS), part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety, plays a vital role in managing individuals on parole, post-sentence supervision, and court orders. As our client base continues to grow, we are strengthening our services through evidence-based practices—ensuring we focus on the areas that create the greatest impact.

About the role

As the Supervisor, Court Assessment and Prosecutions, you will lead a dedicated team of Court Assessment and Prosecutions Officers supporting the Werribee Magistrates Court and key stakeholders in the sentencing process.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:

- Guide, mentor and develop a small, high-performing team
- Oversee Court Assessment & Prosecutions Service (CAPS) operations
- Ensure effective workload planning and resource allocation
- Provide expert court advice to staff and stakeholders
- Drive timely, high-quality service delivery and reporting

Your leadership will directly contribute to fair, informed sentencing outcomes and stronger community safety.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Strong experience in case management frameworks, including needs assessment in a human services setting
- Proven ability to lead,



support and develop teams in an operational environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- An understanding of court processes and sentencing principles (desirable)

A qualification in social work, human services, criminal justice or criminology—and relevant industry experience—is also desirable.
