Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and flexible Assistant Educator to join our team at our Deanside Village centre.
We are looking for 1 Assistant Educator to join our team in a permanent part-time position working as part of our Float Team. This opportunity has become available due to an internal team movement.
As an Assistant Educator, you’ll work closely with our educators and leadership team to provide high-quality care, engaging learning experiences and a protected, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Working as part of our Float Team, you’ll have the opportunity to support across different rooms and age groups, making this a great role for an Educator who enjoys variety and is comfortable adapting to the needs of different teams throughout the day.
If you’re an enthusiastic Educator with a strong understanding of the EYLF, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education, we’d love to hear from you.

The Opportunity
As an Assistant Educator, you will:
- Support educators in providing high-quality care and education for children across the centre
- Assist with the implementation of engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with daily routines including meals, sleep, hygiene and transitions
- Provide flexible support across different rooms and age groups as part of the Float Team
- Maintain a high standard of care, supervision and compliance
- Work collaboratively with room and centre teams
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies
- Be flexible to work rotating shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, reliable and collaborative approach to work
- Flexibility to work across different rooms and age groups
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
- A strong understanding of child safety, safeguarding and mandatory reporting responsibilities
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
