Do you thrive on leading transformational projects that modernise systems, improve financial processes and deliver meaningful organisational outcomes?

This position will be responsible for the system testing, development and documentation of accounting and business procedures, development of financial reports and dashboards for Finance related elements of Council’s Enterprise Resource Planning Project (“Systems Uplift Project”) implementation.

Council's Systems Uplift Project is a major business transformation initiative focused on modernising systems, streamlining processes and strengthening organisational capability.

The position will also provide general accounting support for day-to-day operations as required.

To be successful in the role, you will require:

- Expertise in accounting principles, legislative interpretation and contemporary financial practice.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of business processes and associated stakeholder management.
- Ability to critically analyse information and processes to identify process improvement opportunities.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
