The Role

We are looking for an experience Compliance Manager to be responsible for managing and overseeing our regulatory compliance obligations, including Anti-Money Laundering /Counter-Terrorism Funding and Responsible Gaming. This role will encompass nomination as our AML/CTF Compliance Officer for AUSTRAC purposes. The role is responsible for ensuring alignment with legislative and regulatory requirements and embedding robust compliance, governance and risk management frameworks.

Key Priorities

AML/CTF

- Act as the Group's AML/CTF Compliance Officer and primary point of contact with AUSTRAC.
- Own, maintain and continually improve the Group's AML/CTF Program, ML/TF risk assessment, policies and controls, keeping them in line with the reformed AML/CTF regime.

Responsible Gaming

- Oversee the Group's Responsible Gaming Framework to ensure compliance with the Gaming Machines Act 2001, the Registered Clubs Act 1976, Liquor & Gaming NSW requirements and licence conditions.




- Continue to embed obligations such as Responsible Gambling Officer coverage, gambling incident registers, self-exclusion and harm-minimisation controls across all venues.

Risk & Governance

- Lead enterprise risk management across the Group in line with practical best-practice frameworks.
- Maintain the Group's compliance framework, obligations register, policies and procedures.
- Ensuring policies, procedures and controls are practical, documented and updated.

Stakeholders & Regulators

- Advise the Board and Executive with confidence, giving a balanced view of risk and practical solutions.
- Build credible, constructive relationships with AUSTRAC, Liquor & Gaming NSW, auditors and industry bodies.

What You'll Bring

- Senior experience in compliance, risk or governance, ideally in clubs, hospitality, casinos or another AUSTRAC-regulated sector.
- Current knowledge of AML/CTF legislation and 2024-2026 reforms, with hands-on experience managing AML/CTF Programs.
- Ability to meet the "fit-and-proper" requirements of the AML/CTF Compliance Officer role.
- Strong understanding of gaming operations, gaming systems and the NSW gaming regulatory framework.
- Ability to take a balanced, practical approach to regulation and compliance
- Experience engaging with Boards, Committees and regulators.
- Robust communication skills.
