Put your electrical fault-finding skills to work in a busy food manufacturing environment. Laurent Bakery is seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to help keep production machinery and equipment running safely and reliably across our two Braeside manufacturing facilities.

The Role
As part of our Technical Maintenance team, you'll carry out electrical maintenance, respond to breakdowns and complete planned preventative maintenance to support reliable production.
This is a hand-on role suited to an electrician who enjoys diagnosing faults, solving practical problems and working closely with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery and equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, working to restore equipment safely and minimise production downtime.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and electrical inspections.
- Identify recurring faults and recommend improvements to equipment reliability.
- Work with production and maintenance colleagues to prioritise repairs and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, faults and repairs.
- Follow electrical safety, isolation and site safety procedures.
- Carry out work in accordance with food manufacturing hygiene and food safety requirements.
- Support other maintenance team members when required.
What You Bring
- A current A Grade electrical licence and relevant electrical trade qualification.
- At least two years' experience in industrial or factory environments , with practical experience maintaining production machinery.
- Solid electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance.
- A commitment to safe work practices.
- The ability to work independently and communicate clearly with maintenance and production teams.
- A practical, cooperative approach and a willingness to learn unfamiliar equipment.
- Availability to work the 6am-6pm rotating roster.
- Experience as a Maintenance Electrician, Industrial Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Technician in manufacturing will be highly regarded.
- Applicants must have work rights that allow them to work the advertised roster without ongoing restrictions.
