As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational management of the practice, ensuring the clinic runs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care and service.

Key responsibilities

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the practice
- Leading, supporting and managing the practice team
- Staff rostering, performance management and recruitment
- Overseeing patient bookings, recalls and patient flow
- Managing billing, Medicare, private health and accounts processes
- Monitoring practice financial performance and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare, privacy and workplace requirements
- Developing and maintaining efficient practice systems and processes
- Managing suppliers, equipment and practice facilities
- Working closely with ophthalmologists and clinical staff

About you

- Has proven experience as a Practice Manager,



ideally within a medical or specialist practice
- Has robust leadership and people-management skills
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Is confident managing the financial and operational aspects of a practice
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can confidently deal with challenging situations in a professional and calm manner
- Is proactive, solutions-focused and able to work independently
- Has a genuine commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience
- Understands the importance of confidentiality, compliance and professionalism
