We are seeking a CA or CPA-qualified tax accountant to establish and lead this service, with a healthy existing pipeline of client work from day one.

You will support individuals, high-net-worth clients and business owners, while also overseeing tax requirements for the organisation itself.

What you will do

- Prepare and review individual and company tax returns, financial statements and associated compliance work.

- Provide practical tax advice and planning for individuals and business owners.

- Help mortgage applicants bring their tax affairs and financial information up to date, developing ongoing accounting relationships beyond the application.

- Manage tax compliance and related accounting requirements for the organisation.

- Establish efficient workflows, using technology and AI to support quality and turnaround times.

- Shape the service offering and recruit staff as the practice grows.

You will have access to an established client base. You can also bring or develop your own client relationships if you wish, but business development is not a requirement.

About you

You love tax, enjoy working directly with clients and take pride in delivering accurate,



practical advice.

Ideally, you will bring:

- CA or CPA qualification.

- Strong Australian public practice tax experience, ideally within a mid-tier accounting firm.

- Confidence managing individual and company tax compliance, financial statements and client advice.

- The ability to manage a busy portfolio while maintaining quality and responsiveness.

- An interest in technology and improving accounting processes.

- The ambition to take ownership and grow into a practice leadership role.

You may be a Senior Accountant or Manager looking for greater autonomy, a clear growth opportunity and a financial stake in what you help build.
