The Group Reporting Manager will oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards within the Consumer sector. This 12-month initial contract role will start immediately and be suitable for a first time mover Manager or Senior Manager or alternatively a more experienced individual with industry experience in a similar technical role.

Description
The role of Group Reporting Manager will be responsible for:
- Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and group reporting requirements.
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, half-year and annual financial reports for key stakeholders.
- Provide technical accounting advice across the business, supporting complex transactions, accounting policies and reporting matters.
- Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of reporting obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting processes,
controls and systems.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide accurate financial insights and support informed decision-making.
- Assess and implement new accounting standards, ensuring compliance and best-practice governance.
- Contribute to finance transformation and strategic projects aimed at enhancing reporting capability and efficiency.
Profile
A successful Group Reporting Manager should have:
- Qualifications in accounting or finance, such as CA or CPA.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in financial reporting within an inventory or stock based environment
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
