The Role
You will join a growing Business Advisory team, working closely with Seniors, Managers and Partners. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, take ownership of your work and build strong client relationships from day one.
What you will be doing
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a diverse client portfolio
- Bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end accounting
- Completing payroll tax and other compliance obligations on time
- Liaising with clients, the ATO and other stakeholders
- Managing your own workflow and deadlines
- Using technology to improve efficiency and processes
What you bring
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship (this is essential)
- 2+ years' experience in tax and business services in public practice
- CA or CPA completed, in progress, or a willingness to start
- Positive working knowledge of Xero, XPM, MYOB and QuickBooks or similar
- A careful, accurate approach to your work
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude to learning and feedback, and an open-minded approach to solving problems
