# B2B Sales Representative – Hardware, Building Supplies & Livestock Equipment

Strong Base Salary + Commission | Australia-Wide Sales | Frequent Interstate Travel

## About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated B2B Sales Representative to help a newly established overseas company expand into the Australian market.

The company operates its own overseas manufacturing facility and supplies a product range similar to Mix Steel, including livestock panels, cattle yards, farm gates, fencing products, and other agricultural and building supplies.

As the business is still in its early stages of expansion, this is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to help build its Australian customer base, establish new trade relationships, and develop the business from the ground up.

We will provide existing customer resources and initial sales leads to support you in the early stages. However, you will be expected to actively develop new business opportunities and grow your own customer network.

This is NOT a passive sales role.

Frequent interstate travel is required.

## What You'll Be Doing

- Develop and expand the Australian market for a growing overseas manufacturing company

- Convert provided leads into active trade accounts

- Actively prospect and acquire new B2B customers across Australia

- Sell livestock equipment, fencing, hardware and building supplies to wholesalers, retailers, contractors and other business clients

- Manage the full sales cycle, from cold calling and prospecting through to quoting, negotiation and closing

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value trade customers

- Identify new markets, distributors and wholesale opportunities

- Travel interstate regularly to meet customers and develop new business





- Achieve sales targets and contribute directly to the company's growth

## Who We're Looking For

- Proven B2B sales experience, with a strong track record of winning new business

- Experience working in large hardware retailers, building supplies companies or related industries

- Strong knowledge of hardware, fencing, agricultural products or building materials

- Experience selling to trade customers, wholesalers, distributors or contractors

- Confident in cold calling, face-to-face selling, negotiation and closing deals

- Self-motivated, competitive and results-driven

- Comfortable developing a customer base from the ground up

- Willing and able to travel interstate frequently

- Solid communication and relationship-building skills

- Current Australian driver's licence

Experience and proven sales results matter more than job titles.
