Reporting into the Wholesale Markets and Energy Transition Strategy branch, the Senior Policy Officer develops policy and regulatory reform to support the Victorian Government to deliver safe, affordable, secure, reliable and sustainable energy. This role also contributes to the development of the national energy market regulatory frameworks as they apply to Victoria. The Senior Policy Officer provides evidence-based policy advice to the Minister for Energy and Resources and senior executives.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in a policy or regulatory government environment is advantageous
- Ability to engage with technical policy issues and legislation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable
