About the role

Assist the Bar Manager with the day-to-day operation of the bar at The Deck @ Sea Salt.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate bar staff, including bartenders, bar attendants and other service team members

- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally

- Assist with staff rostering, shift allocation, attendance and daily operational requirements

- Train, guide and support current and existing staff in bar service procedures

- Ensure alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are prepared and served to the required standards

- Monitor stock levels, manage beverage inventory and assist with ordering supplies

- Conduct regular stocktakes and minimise wastage,



breakages and stock losses

- Ensure the bar is clean, organised and maintained in accordance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene requirements

- Ensure compliance with Queensland liquor licensing laws, responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements and venue policies

- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, EFTPOS transactions and end-of-shift reconciliations
