RediMed is a holistic occupational health provider helping Australians recover faster, work safer, and stay healthy. We're a multidisciplinary team of allied health practitioners and medical professional delivering end-to-end health solutions, and we're growing!
That expansion is exactly why we need a newly created HR Advisor position based at our Eagle Farm Clinic, with support from the HR Manager based in Western Australia. There is flexibility on full-time or part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE) to suit your lifestyle.
About the role
As the HR Advisor, you will provide trusted, practical and commercially focused HR advice across the full employee lifecycle. While supported by an experienced HR Manager, you'll enjoy day-to-day autonomy and the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a growing organisation.
This is a broad generalist role with exposure to all aspects of HR, including:
- Providing expert HR advice to leaders on all workplace matters.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, organisational development activities and continuous improvement projects
- Ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, applicable awards, employment legislation and internal policies.
- Coaching managers on compliant best practice through people processes.
- Drafting, reviewing and maintaining employment contracts, policies, procedures and HR documentation
- Managing and supporting workplace investigations and conflict resolution
- Maintaining HR systems, supporting learning platforms and producing people reporting and insights
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and maturity of HR practices across the business
About You
You are an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships and providing practical solutions.
You have a solid generalist foundation and are confident partnering with leaders across a range of operational HR issues.
You are approachable, adaptable and capable of balancing competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and sound judgement.
You'll also have:
- A tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR, HR Advisory or People & Culture role
- Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and modern awards.
- Experience interpreting and applying employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility with leaders
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
It would be desirable if you had:
- Experience working within healthcare, allied health or a multi-site environment
- Experience with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award
- Membership of AHRI (or willingness to obtain)
You will also need to obtain a National Police Certificate.
