Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing & Supply Planning Officer to support day-to-day purchasing, inventory replenishment and supply planning activities.

Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, monitoring stock availability, coordinating inbound supply and supporting forecasting and inventory planning across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily purchasing and inventory replenishment activities through SAP.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and communicate with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.




- Coordinate inbound supply and follow up outstanding orders and shipments.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and resolve supply or delivery issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend appropriate replenishment actions.
- Support demand forecasting and inventory planning across Australia and New Zealand.
- Analyse historical demand, sales trends and customer requirements to support forecast accuracy.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and forecasting data within SAP.

Your Profile

- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply planning, inventory management or supply chain operations.
- Strong hands-on SAP experience
- Understanding of demand forecasting, inventory control and replenishment processes.
- Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, electrical, automation or distribution workplace.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
