Songbird Early Learning Centre in Briar Hill is a boutique 55-place service seeking passionate, dedicated educators for permanent & casual Diploma and Certificate III positions.

We are looking for people who bring warmth, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to quality early childhood education. Just as importantly, we want team members who are reliable, take pride in their work and support those around them.

Child safety is paramount. Every educator must understand their responsibility to protect children, maintain active supervision, follow child safety policies and procedures, and speak up whenever they have a concern. This is fundamental to working at Songbird.

Key responsibilities

- Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families.

- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.

- Support children's learning, development, inclusion and wellbeing.

- Maintain active supervision and uphold child safety at all times.

- Contribute to programming, observations and reflective practice.

- Work collaboratively and communicate respectfully with colleagues.

- Follow service policies,



procedures and regulatory requirements.

About you

- Hold a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

- Have a genuine passion for children's learning and development.

- Are reliable, accountable and someone your team can count on.

- Bring a positive attitude and communicate with kindness and respect.

- Take pride in your work and are open to learning and feedback.

- Contribute to a supportive team culture and do not engage in behaviours that undermine others.

- Understand and uphold your child safety responsibilities.

- Hold a current Working with Children Check and meet relevant regulatory requirements.
