Recruitment is underway for disability staff workers to work with a male client residing in the Peninsula and also for candidates to join our Respite and Supported Independent Living Teams.
1. Coastlink has a male client residing on the peninsula who is looking for experienced support workers to join his team.
He has a physical and mild cognitive disability and requires support 7 days per week across 2 x 6 hours shifts per day
in his home and the community. You will be working in the family home so having a friendly but professional manner
is a must. You must be available for day and evening shifts and the occasional (inactive) overnight when the client attends respite at a nearby holiday park.

Coastlink is looking for support staff to join our Respite and Supported Independent Living Teams.
Successful applicants must be available to work overnight (inactive) shifts and weekends.
We have shifts available across a 7-day roster which include day, evening and overnight shifts.
Most supports will be provided from our two lodges at Watanobbi, however some shifts could be allocated
at locations across the Central Coast.

To be successful in this role you will need:
- A minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) Or similar Or relevant experience if working towards a relevant qualification or a Certificate III in Aged Care willing to complete an additional four units to gain the Disability qualification.
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- Experience with hoisting and manual handling.
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of NDIS and the NDIS Practice Standards.
- A passion to embrace and apply Coastlink’s values and ethics to foster a culture of positive support, client empowerment, honesty, accountability, inclusion, respect and empathy.
- A NDIS Worker Screen Check, Working with Children Check
- To be a courteous representative of Coastlink in all undertakings with service users, their carers and in the community and portray a positive public image at all times.
- A strong desire to empower people with disabilities and a commitment to supporting and promoting their individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals.
