About the role

Our Client a transport company based in Shepparton, VIC, is seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join their team.

Key responsibilities

- Interstate transport and deliver of goods safely and on time

- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and report faults promptly

- Ensure loads are correctly secured and comply with vehicle weight limits

- Maintain accurate delivery records, work diaries and other required documentation

- Keep the vehicle clean and comply with company procedures and applicable transport regulations

About you

- Hold a current Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) licence or higher

- Have at least 3 years of truck driving experience





- Be physically present in Australia and hold valid work rights permitting employment with the company

- Be willing to work in Shepparton and complete a paid 3–4 month trial/probation period with the employer

- Have a sound driving record and a solid commitment to road safety

- Understand fatigue management, load restraint, Chain of Responsibility and workplace safety requirements

- Be capable of safely performing loading, unloading and other physical duties associated with the role

- Be punctual, dependable and able to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
