This is a full-time role for an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead the Footgear Indooroopilly team. We sell only the world's leading comfort performance brands such as Birkenstock, ECCO, FRANKiE4 & On Running. All of our footwear is comfortable yet fashionable. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience and service.
What you'll be doing
- Driving sales and profitability through product knowledge, positive staff culture, and attentive customer engagement.
- Providing strong leadership and coaching to develop a high-performing retail team.
- Ensuring the store adheres to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Analysing sales data and store performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Liaising with head office on operational matters and implementing new initiatives.
- Creating a positive in-store environment that encourages customer loyalty.
- Managing day-to-day store operations, including cash handling, merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Getting to know a constantly rotating range of sale stock quickly.
- Overseeing the receiving, checking, and put-away of incoming stock, working with your team to ensure high volumes are processed accurately and efficiently.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the footwear or retail setting.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store performance.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using retail management software and data analysis tools.
- Experience managing high-volume stock receiving and processing.
- Physically able and willing to be hands-on with stock — this is a fast-paced outlet environment with high stock turnover.
- Tuesday to Saturday Roster.
