We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to become a part of our team at Iluka Medical Centre. As the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors, and allied health providers, your role will be essential in delivering exceptional service.
Position Details:
- Type: Part-time (approx. 15-20 hours per week)
- Opportunity for additional hours to cover sick and annual leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally.
- Manage patient phone inquiries effectively.
- Schedule appointments and accurately enter patient data.
- Generate invoices and process payments.
- Handle Medicare claims efficiently.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain doctors' schedules and bookings.
- Respond promptly to team member requests.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with Best Practice Software is advantageous.
- Solid computer skills.
- Exceptional phone etiquette.
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
