Location: Westmead, NSW
Application Closing Date: 10th November 2026
About Us
Centre for Women's Ultrasound (CFWU) is a leading provider of specialised pregnancy and gynaecology services, including specialist consultations, ultrasound and diagnostic testing. Led by A/Prof. Indika Alahakoon, our team provides high-quality, compassionate care across our Westmead and Norwest Private Hospital, Bella Vista locations.
With state-of-the-art facilities and a strong commitment to women's health, we continue to expand our services and reach. Our growing portfolio includes CFWU, Aurellia Wellness for Women, and Pregnancy & Baby Co, spanning healthcare, women's wellness, and women's and children's products.
As our businesses continue to grow, we are looking for a creative, proactive and forward-thinking Marketing Specialist to coordinate our marketing activities, work alongside established external marketing agencies, and identify new opportunities to strengthen our brands, increase referrals and grow our online sales.
We are looking for someone who doesn't just wait for instructions, but takes initiative, thinks critically, challenges existing ideas constructively and brings fresh opportunities to the table.

About the Role
Working closely with the Clinical Director, Operations Manager and external marketing consultants, you will help coordinate and grow our multiple brands through effective marketing strategies, compelling content and innovative digital initiatives.
This role requires someone who can balance execution with strategic thinking — identifying what can be improved, researching new trends, proposing ideas and helping turn those ideas into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing activities across our healthcare, wellness and e-commerce brands, working collaboratively with established digital marketing agencies.
- Assist in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, email and social media.
- Create engaging content for websites, newsletters, social media, promotional materials and patient communications.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging digital technologies to enhance content creation, streamline marketing workflows,
generate creative concepts and improve productivity.
- Develop content calendars and coordinate social media scheduling, engagement and performance analysis.
- Monitor campaign results, website traffic, audience engagement and online sales, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support relationship-building and marketing initiatives with GPs, referrers, fertility clinics, hospitals and other healthcare professionals digitally.
- Coordinate clinic events, community outreach, promotional events and partnership opportunities.
- Research competitors, market trends, audience behaviour and new opportunities to grow brand awareness, patient referrals and e-commerce sales.
- Proactively bring new ideas to the business, recommend improvements and take ownership of agreed initiatives from concept through to implementation.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who is creative, organised, commercially aware and genuinely interested in helping a growing group of women's health businesses succeed.
You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities and contributing ideas that extend beyond your day-to-day responsibilities.
Essential Skills and Experience
- 2–3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in healthcare, wellness, e-commerce or a service-based business.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content development and brand positioning.
- Knowledge of AI tools for digital content creation, including generating content ideas, developing marketing copy, creating or enhancing visual content and improving marketing efficiency.
- Experience with platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics, or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Excellent written communication, storytelling, research and analytical skills.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyse information, identify gaps and recommend practical solutions.
- A proactive mindset — someone who identifies what needs to be done and takes initiative without waiting to be prompted.
- The confidence to present new ideas, question existing approaches constructively and contribute to business growth.
- Robust organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple brands, campaigns and stakeholders.
- A collaborative, adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively alongside internal teams and external agencies.
- Availability to attend marketing events and flexibility when required.
Most importantly, we want someone who thinks beyond the brief. We value initiative, intelligent problem-solving, creativity and the ability to turn ideas into meaningful outcomes. We are not simply looking for someone to manage social media; we want someone who can help us discover new ways to grow our businesses.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to contribute to several growing brands across healthcare, women's wellness and e-commerce.
- A team-oriented and supportive, all-women team.
- Flexibility, autonomy and opportunities for professional development.
- The opportunity to work closely with leadership and have your ideas heard and implemented.
- The chance to experiment with new marketing technologies and innovative approaches.
- A meaningful role where your work supports women's health, wellbeing and access to quality care.
How to Apply
If you are a proactive marketing professional who enjoys thinking creatively, embracing technology and turning ideas into action, we would love to hear from you.
Please email your resume and a cover letter to ••••@cfwu.com.au, outlining:
- Your marketing experience and relevant skills.
- Why you are interested in this role and what makes you a strong fit.

- One or two fresh marketing ideas you would explore to help grow our brands.
