GANT is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Harbour Town Premium Outlet store. This is an opportunity to be part of one of our top-performing stores, where high standards, strong results and a good team environment go hand in hand.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, deliver great customer service and keep the store running smoothly.

You'll lead from the front on the shop floor, coach and support your team, recognise opportunities and take responsibility for getting things done.

We're looking for someone who brings energy, sound judgement and a genuine interest in people. Someone who enjoys learning, is open to feedback and willing to share ideas. You'll work collaboratively with the Store Manager, take ownership of your responsibilities and have the confidence to step up and lead when needed.

You'll play an important part in building a team that enjoys coming to work, takes pride in what they do and works together to deliver great results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Store Manager to achieve and exceed store budgets and KPIs

- Take responsibility for day-to-day operations and confidently lead in the Store Manager's absence

- Coach, support and develop team members to achieve strong individual and store results

- Lead by example on the shop floor, setting high standards for customer service and presentation

- Build strong customer relationships while maintaining GANT's premium brand standards

- Maintain high standards across stock control, visual merchandising, compliance and store processes

- Understand store performance, identify opportunities and take action to improve results





- Help build a team that works well together, takes responsibility and delivers results

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- Experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role, with the confidence to take the next step

- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced retail environment

- A genuine interest in leading, coaching and developing people

- Someone who leads by example, takes initiative and follows through on commitments

- A willingness to learn, share ideas and develop through coaching and feedback

- Confidence to make decisions, solve problems and take responsibility

- A positive, fair and approachable leadership style

- Clear communication skills, good judgement and attention to detail

- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to shared goals

- Experience in outlet will be highly regarded
