Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in a school environment in Bendigo. This part-time position is crucial for ensuring a protected and hygienic space for students and staff. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive learning atmosphere by upholding high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all areas, including classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, are kept clean and tidy
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Adhere to health and safety regulations and cleaning protocols
Assist in the setup and packing away of furniture for school events as required
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in an educational or similar setting
A valid Working with Children (WWC) check
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Positive time management skills and ability to work independently
Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
