An opportunity has arisen for a talented Contract Administrator to join our commercial construction team. Working under our Project Managers, you will be responsible for liaising with sub-contractors, suppliers and assisting with the management of commercial construction contracts. Our projects are extremely diverse and challenging, spanning educational, sports, entertainment, heritage and public domain sectors, with project values ranging from $500k - $10 million.
Key responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, review and administration of cost reports, PCG reports, RFI's project programs, procurement, purchase orders and subcontracts
Liaise with project team, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate contract documentation
Ensure site records are retained on a daily basis
Liaise with Authorities and Councils for issuing of Certificates
Monitor contract compliance and assist with the resolution of contractual issues
Support the preparation of contract variations, claims, and reporting
Maintain comprehensive document control
Provide administrative support to the project team as required
About you
Minimum 3 years experience, preferably working within Govt contracts
Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) or similar tertiary education
Knowledge of the construction industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
Understanding and experience of on-site processes
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Solid time management and organisational skills
Proficient in using MS Office Suite, Procore, Procure Pro and Breadcrumb
