Diptech Performance is actively seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our energetic team. This full-time position is located in Epping, VIC 3076, and presents an exciting opportunity to engage with a variety of marine projects. The successful candidate will receive specialized training from both Yamaha and Stacer.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair a variety of marine engines and related systems
Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on marine vessels
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble marine engines and components
Test and calibrate marine electronics and electrical systems
Advise customers on maintenance requirements and recommended repairs
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Pre Delivery of waverunners and boats
What we're looking for
Formal qualification in marine mechanics or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience as a marine mechanic, preferably in a workshop setting
Expertise in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of marine engines and systems
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
