The Company:

Oz Home Building provides skilled field service technicians for the installation and maintenance of fast broadband services across Australia.

The Role:

As our Telecommunications Technician you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunications equipment, including cabling, modems, routers, antennas, and NBN systems.

Responsibilities:
Conduct testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding on voice, data, and internet services to ensure service quality and performance.
Perform in office service calls to residential and commercial clients for new installations, upgrades, or troubleshooting.
Terminate and test copper and fibre optic cables using industry-standard tools and equipment.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, network schematics, and customer service orders.
Liaise with clients to identify service needs, explain technical issues, and provide professional support.
Complete documentation, including job sheets, installation records, and fault reports.




Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, telecommunications regulations, and client specifications.
Coordinate with internal teams and third-party service providers to resolve escalated technical issues.
Stay updated with emerging telecommunications technologies and industry best practices.
