PADDY THE BAKER (Miranda Bakery Pty Ltd) specialises in traditional Irish breads, gluten free breads and a range of pizza bases with an emphasis on healthy, quality products.

We are looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. This is a outstanding opportunity for employment within a busy and well-established bakery.

The position is part time.

Your Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Mixing, preparing and baking breads

Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment to make baked goods.

Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough

Baking different bread types

Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards

Monitoring oven temperature and product appearance to determined baking times

Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls

Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines for all products and working practices, including adhering to cleaning procedures

Maintaining food at the correct temperatures, correct storage of goods, safe operation of equipment





Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance.

We are seeking someone with
At least Certificate III in Bakery or equivalent
At least three years relevant work experience
Experience in training and developing the team members and apprentices to meet the production targets
Experience in meeting daily production requirements
Experience in ordering and planning for daily production requirements
An ability or experience in creating current and different baked products using fresh produce ingredients would be an advantage in this role.

The successful applicant will be required to work on a fixed roster, 10am start, Wednesday to Friday communicating when required with the retail manager and reporting to the general manager.

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 39.0 per week
