Behavioural therapist required:

This role will suit an enthusiastic and client-centred Behavioural Therapist

This role is considered mobile, & client home-based, working in a consortium model as a sole trader. You will be delivering services and providing expert consultation and intervention to clients with a disability who have complex needs, allowing them to participate fully in life. You will provide tailored services in line with individual NDIS plans. You will be part of a successful and expanding Behavioural Therapy service operating across the ACT .

The role:

· Development and support the implementation of Behaviour Support Plans from a Positive Behaviour Support Perspective.

· Provide intervention and behaviour support and training to family & supports, (usually care staff)

· Plan, monitor and review client outcomes

· Conduct behavioural and functional assessments as part of a behavioural therapy plan.

· Complete reports and work towards goals within the NDIS plans.

Where restrictive practices have/are identified regulatory requirements will be followed

Requirements:

MUST be registered with NDIS Commission at Core or above

· Relevant Tertiary qualification such as: Psychology, Social Work, similar areas of Social and Behavioural Science

·12 months experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses

· Sound interpersonal communication skills

· Strong analytical and report writing skills

· An ability to provide a service based on a client’s NDIS goals and funding allocation

· Current driver's licence and a reliable car.

· Sound problem solving skills and the ability to work in a flexible environment that at times involves innovative and agile approaches

Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
