Creswick Dental Centre is looking for a reliable and motivated person who would like to build a long-term career in dental assisting.

No previous dental experience is required. We are prepared to train the right person and support completion of the HLT35021 Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

This is a hands-on clinical role in a small dental practice. You will receive practical training and gradually learn all aspects of chairside dental assisting, patient care, infection control and the day-to-day running of a dental surgery.

We are looking for someone who is:
reliable and punctual
organised and attentive to detail
able to work efficiently and learn quickly
comfortable working in a busy clinical environment
professional in their communication and presentation
willing to accept instruction and feedback
able to maintain high standards of cleanliness
genuinely interested in a stable, long-term role
able to travel reliably to Creswick for each rostered shift

Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, aged care, hospitality, retail, childcare or other fast-paced customer-facing work may be helpful, but is not essential.





Training

The successful applicant may be supported to complete the HLT35021 Certificate III in Dental Assisting while working.

We are looking for someone who wants to learn the role properly and become a dependable long-term member of the practice.

Location and travel

The position is based at Creswick Dental Centre in Creswick.

Reliable transport and a realistic daily commute are key. Before applying, please consider carefully whether travelling to Creswick for each rostered shift would be practical and sustainable for you over the longer term.
