Ideal for recent graduates who are planning to attend or are currently enrolled in university or TAFE, and are available to work afternoon and evening shifts.

Position Summary

Position Title: Sandwich Artist™

Reports To: Store Manager

Role Overview

A Sandwich Artist Senior is competent in running a shift un-supervised and is responsible for the accurate balancing of that shift. A Sandwich Artist Senior serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes Subway brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.

Key Accountabilities

Cashier Operations
Count end of shift monies
Complete administration accurately

Key Challenges
Ensure customers are served in an effective and friendly manner
Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits
Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met
Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner

Store Merchandising
Receive deliveries and check in stock




Daily bread counts
Food preparation including bread and cookie baking

Food Safety
Comply with Food Code of Practice
Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and audit standards.
Carry out temperature checks and record as per company process
Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per cleaning chart

Occupational Health & Safety
Follow safety procedures to prevent injury
Provide a safe work workplace for employees and customers

Personal Qualities
Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet SUBWAY® and customer expectations
Work as a team member
Complete training courses as directed by the SUBWAY® Manager

Job Types: Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: $20.86 – $34.76 per hour
