We are a small safety consultancy providing practical Work Health and Safety support to residential and commercial construction clients across the Perth metropolitan area.

We are looking for an experienced Construction Safety Advisor to join our team in an ongoing casual role. The work will generally be around 4–6 days per month, with flexibility in how inspections are scheduled throughout the month.

About the role

The role primarily involves:
Attending residential and commercial construction sites across the Perth metropolitan area
Completing workplace safety inspections
Identifying hazards and providing practical, workable safety advice
Liaising confidently with builders, supervisors and trades
Preparing explicit and qualified inspection reports
Providing completed reports within one business day of each inspection

Inspection schedules are generally provided at the beginning of each month. Subject to client requirements, inspections may be completed on set days, grouped together over a week, or spread throughout the month.

About you

We are looking for someone who:
Has practical experience within the construction industry
Holds a current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Preferably holds a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher




Has a sound understanding of the WA Work Health and Safety legislation
Is confident working autonomously and managing their own site visits
Can identify hazards and recommend sensible, achievable solutions
Is comfortable speaking directly with builders, supervisors and trades
Can build good working relationships while being confident enough to raise safety concerns when required
Has strong written communication skills and can prepare professional inspection reports
Is reliable, organised and able to manage their own workload
Has their own reliable vehicle and Apple iPad
Has unrestricted Australian working rights

We take a practical and collaborative approach to safety. We are looking for someone who understands construction, communicates well with the people carrying out the work and can apply safety requirements sensibly in real site conditions.

Pay is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
