Job Summary

The Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role involves conducting routine servicing, identifying mechanical faults, and performing repairs.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, tire replacement, and fluid checks.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace defective vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and steering systems.
Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
Test vehicles after repairs to verify proper operation.
Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
Follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Required Qualifications
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification).
Valid driver's license.
Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic or automotive technician.
Solid knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.




Ability to read technical manuals and interpret diagrams.
Requires own tools and toolbox
Forklift ticket

Work ute and vans provided for breakdowns and parts pickup
Workshop equipment provided
Unique tools provided for specific jobs under manufacture’s requirements
May require overtime or weekend work during peak periods.
Compliance with workplace safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
