About the Role
Working within a rapid-paced freight depot, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading and moving freight using a long-tyne forklift.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating a long-tyne forklift to load and unload trailers
Moving, sorting and staging freight for dispatch
Ensuring freight is handled safely and accurately
Assisting with general depot and warehouse duties
Performing manual handling tasks when required
Maintaining a secure, clean and organised work environment
What We're Looking For
Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
Previous forklift experience within transport, freight or logistics
Demonstrated experience loading and unloading trailers
Experience operating long-tyne forklifts highly regarded
Confidence working in a busy, time-sensitive freight workplace
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Reliable transport and availability Monday to Friday
A dependable attitude and willingness to assist the wider team
