MON – FRIDAY / 6AM – 2PM
LEAD A TEAM OF 10

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing distribution and warehouse management.
Staff management – team of 10 including casuals and permanent staff.
Fleet management of 13, 8T forklifts including working with service providers.
Coordinating inventory stocktake.
Acting as the first point of contact for any customer complaints or escalations relating to damaged or undelivered products.
Managing distribution department budgets and budget control
Overseeing continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with the HSE Coordinator – adopting a safety-first mindset and leadership style

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:
Experience within a similar workplace where you have overseen a small team, ideally within a manufacturing and distribution setting – you enjoy the mix of staff management, inventory control and logistics coordination.




Qualifications in either Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Transport & Distribution.
The kind of personality that leads by example, enjoys developing and managing a team while always working with a safety focused mindset.
Solid admin and reporting experience – you will have responsibility for month end reporting, variance reporting and operational analysis.
A current forklift & drivers licence
