STT Mechanical Repairs is looking for an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team, carrying out mobile servicing, repairs and maintenance at customer sites.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows trailers, can diagnose problems and is confident taking ownership of a job from start to finish.
About the role
You’ll be working on a variety of trailers and trailer systems, including:
Trailer brakes and brake systems
Bearings and hubs
Suspension and bushes
Air systems and air brakes
Couplings and drawbars
Trailer electrical systems
General trailer servicing and repairs
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on-site
You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, making decisions on the job and communicating with customers when required.

We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid experience working on trailers
Can confidently diagnose and repair trailer faults
Is comfortable working independently
Takes pride in doing the job properly
Is reliable and well organised
Communicates well with customers and the team
Is happy travelling to customer sites
Has a strong safety mindset
Holds a current driver’s licence
