We are seeking a qualified and experienced Systems Technician to support the operation, testing and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment.

This is a full time position based in Tweed Heads, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Inspecting and troubleshooting electronic and control components used in CNC cutting, vacuum and thermal processing equipment. Checking sensors, temperature controllers, timers, connections and control boards, where fitted, to investigate equipment faults and abnormal readings. Using equipment documentation, available diagnostic interfaces and error messages to identify faults and determine appropriate corrective action. Testing equipment performance and checking temperature and vacuum readings against production requirements. Carrying out authorised maintenance and coordinating specialist repairs or calibration when required. Assisting with the installation and commissioning of recent or upgraded equipment when required, including functional checks and recording test results. Checking equipment after maintenance or adjustments before it returns to production. Maintaining technical records of equipment settings, diagnostic tests, faults, maintenance and downtime.



Working with production staff to improve fault reporting, equipment reliability and maintenance procedures.

Skills and Experience Required To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar technical role. A relevant qualification in electronics, control systems, engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant practical experience. Practical experience troubleshooting electronic or control systems and testing equipment performance. An understanding of sensors, controllers and automated manufacturing equipment. The ability to interpret technical documentation and record diagnostic findings and test results. Robust problem-solving and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a production team. An understanding of workplace safety requirements and when specialist technical assistance is needed. Experience with CNC machinery, vacuum systems, thermal processing or composite manufacturing would be an advantage.

On job training will be provided for our composite manufacturing techniques.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
