We are looking for determined and passionate Cooks and Chefs of various levels to join our team at the Iris Hotel Group.

All Iris properties in Alice Springs, NT - (Gap View Hotel, Todds Tavern, Stay at Alice Springs Resort, Diplomat Motel, Mercure Alice Springs Resort)

The right person for the role will be a driven individual that enjoys the rush of a busy service and is adept at managing every area of the kitchen. You will be part of an experienced kitchen team and will lead by example in this wide-ranging role, executing a casual bistro menu.

• Previous chef/cook experience within a similar fast-paced environment
• The ability to run a smooth, organized service
• Team leadership skills
• Passionate about the end product
• Professional, polished appearance (for our open kitchen)
• A positive attitude
• Desire to succeed in your chosen career
• At least Certificate IV in Cookery + one year full time experience or equivalent OR three years of experience.
• Salary range $79,500 to $90,000, depending on position and experience.
