Laser, Press & Tube Operators | Day & Afternoon Shifts | Temp to Perm
Express Employment Specialists is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a busy metal processing facility in Darra, QLD, specialising in laser cutting, tube cutting and metal folding across mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
These positions offer temp to perm opportunities, competitive hourly rates and early finishes on Fridays.
Available positions
2 x Laser Operators: One on day shift and one on afternoon shift.
2 x Press Operators: One on day shift and one on afternoon shift.
1 x Tube Operator: Day shift, with an ASAP start available.
Shift times and pay rates
Day shift
5:30 am-1:30 pm, with a 12:00 pm finish on Fridays.
$36-$40+ per hour, depending on experience.
Afternoon shift
1:30 pm-10:00 pm.
Fridays: 12:00 pm-6:00 pm.
$41.40-$46+ per hour, depending on experience.
About the role
Operate laser cutting, press or tube processing machinery.
Set up and monitor machinery to meet production requirements.
Check finished metal components for quality and accuracy.
Assist with material handling and general factory duties.
Follow secure operating procedures and maintain an organised work area.
What we're looking for
Previous experience operating laser, press or tube machinery.
Forklift licence preferred, but not essential.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Solid attention to detail and a safety-focused approach.
Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
