Looking for an Experienced Bangladeshis/ Bengali (Bangla) Speaking Support Worker

About the role:
We are looking for a caring and reliable support worker who speaks Bengali (Bangla) to support clients in the Truganina area. Days and hours are versatile. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, genuine empathy, and the ability to provide person-centred support to participants with diverse needs.

Duties may include:
Assisting clients with meal preparation
Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying
Providing friendly, respectful support in the client's home
Communicating with clients in Bengali (Bangla) and English

About you:
Fluent in Bengali (Bangla), with conversational English
Patient, dependable and respectful of clients' culture and routines
Able to travel to Truganina and surrounding suburbs
Experience in disability, aged or community care is welcome but not essential

Mandatory Compliance Requirements:

All of the following are non-negotiable requirements. You must hold these or be actively in the process of obtaining them prior to your first shift:
Disability Qualification (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Disability)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check




Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
Current Police Check
Current First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate
Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Completed Supporting Secure and Enjoyable Meals training (or willingness to complete prior to commencement)
A personal car and a valid driver’s license
Comprehensive Car Insurance
