Candia Care & Support is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our friendly team three days per week.

We provide disability supports and are expanding into aged care. We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable and confident managing payroll and accounts within a care services business.

About the role

Working closely with the owner and office team, your responsibilities will include:
Managing accurate and timely payroll.
Applying the SCHADS Award, including classifications, pay rates, allowances, penalties and overtime.
Managing superannuation payments and employee leave entitlements, including long service leave.
Maintaining payroll records and completing relevant reporting and reconciliations.
Managing invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and following up outstanding payments.
Processing and reconciling NDIS claims and aged care service payments.
Responding to staff payroll queries clearly and professionally.
Working with our accountant to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.

About you

Demonstrated hands-on payroll experience and a strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award are essential.

You will also bring:




Confidence using ShiftCare and Pay Cat, including managing accurate staff and shift information and processing payroll.
Experience managing superannuation, leave accruals and long service leave.
Strong bookkeeping and accounts management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
A professional, confidential and approachable manner.
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Experience working with an NDIS or aged care provider, including sector billing and claiming processes, will be highly regarded.
