BD Imaging is seeking a Full Time X-Ray & CT Radiographer to join our team at our Yangebup, Western Australia facility. This is a fulltime position offering the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment whilst delivering high-quality diagnostic services to our patients. As an X-Ray & CT Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in our clinical operations, ensuring accurate image acquisition and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care within a agile healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities:
Performing XR and CT examinations, including contrast CT examinations, as required
Stock ordering for the department
Liaison with radiologists and GPs/Urgent Care facility located next door
Import and Export of Patient imaging as appropriate, including for comparison and sending to hospital sites
Assisting in office radiologist with interventional procedures in CT as required
What we're looking for:
Current WA Radiation License
Current AHPRA Registration
Current Indemnity Insurance, or registration with an organization which provides this (ie. ASMIRT)
Current Working with Children check, or the ability to obtain one
Current Australian Police clearance, or the ability to obtain one
Demonstrated competency in X-ray and CT imaging techniques and protocols
Robust knowledge of radiation safety principles and protection standards
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of image quality
Proficiency in using computerised imaging systems and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
Current understanding of relevant healthcare legislation, privacy requirements and workplace health and safety regulations

Fujifilm FDR-X DR X-Ray System
Siemens go.Up 32 Slice CT Scanner
Karisma
Inteleviewer/Intelebrowser PACS system
