We’re looking for an experienced Draftsperson to join our energetic and growing team at Workshop 28.
If you come from a cabinetmaking or joinery drafting background and are highly skilled at producing accurate shop drawings that are used directly on the factory floor and in office, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a key part of our Production team, you’ll be:
Creating detailed setout drawings using Microvellum (or AutoCAD-based software)
Working closely with our Project Managers, Factory Foreman, and production staff
Liaising with builders, architects, and suppliers from concept to completion
Supporting procurement and material take-offs
Providing accurate and buildable drawings to ensure smooth manufacturing and installation
What You’ll Bring
Trade background in cabinet making or joinery
Strong skills in Microvellum, AutoCAD or similar
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
Proven experience producing detailed shop drawings
Good supplier knowledge and basic procurement skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and team collaboration
Qualified communication skills and a proactive attitude
