A well-established Darwin-based construction company is seeking an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role supporting the financial operations of multiple entities and project-based activities across the business.
Your new role
Reporting to senior management, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions while providing accurate reporting and financial insights to support business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Bank reconciliations across multiple entities
Month-end and year-end processing
Cash flow reporting and retention reconciliations
Debtor and creditor management
BAS preparation and support with ATO lodgements
WIP reporting for construction projects
Liaising with external accountants, auditors, banks and insurers




Financial reporting and analysis for management

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Proficient with accounting systems and Excel)
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
