Accounts Receivable Officer | Full time | Kilsyth
A leading logistics and distribution business based in Kilsyth is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in maintaining cash flow, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end accounts receivable processing
Managing debtor collections and aged debt follow-up
Processing customer payments and allocating receipts
Raising invoices, credit notes and account adjustments
Reconciling customer accounts and ledgers
Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
Preparing debtor reports and assisting with month-end processes
Building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
About You
Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Officer position
Solid collection and customer service skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems is highly regarded
Exposure to logistics, transport, warehousing or distribution industries will be advantageous
