Your new company: A Queensland-founded company that pushes the boundaries of innovation and design is seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer to join their high-performing finance team. Based in their corporate headquarters in Newstead, their beautifully designed offices incorporate an inclusive team culture and lovely setting to work in.
Your current role: Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Setting up recent employees on the payroll system
Preparing and processing weekly pays
Calculation of PAYG, leave entitlements and superannuation
Processing accounts payable invoices
Preparing payments
Creditor reconciliations
Processing expenses
What you’ll need to succeed: In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
Previous experience in a payroll and accounts processing role
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team setting
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and being committed to providing excellent customer service
