Our client, a key government agency, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the Strategic High Frequency Communications (SHFC) Program, delivering engineering assurance and technical oversight of the Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS).
This is an chance to work on a nationally significant Defence capability, supporting both acquisition and sustainment activities.
What You'll Be Doing
Engineering Assurance: Provide specialist engineering advice, technical oversight and assurance across DHFCS sustainment and enhancement activities.
Systems Engineering: Manage engineering documentation, configuration baselines, technical risks and system integration activities.
Contractor Deliverables: Review technical submissions, assess compliance and support verification and validation (V&V;).
Defence Collaboration: Work closely with Defence engineering teams,
capability stakeholders and industry partners to deliver operational outcomes.
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualifications in Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Skilled Engineer (CPEng) status or eligibility.
Demonstrated experience in Defence acquisition, sustainment or complex communications systems.
Solid technical expertise in engineering governance, configuration management, systems integration and risk assessment.
Familiarity with ODCS, ASDEFCON and Defence engineering frameworks will be highly regarded.
