Naracoorte Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife or Registered Midwife for a short-term contract placement in South Australia. Based in Naracoorte, this full-time role offers the chance to work across Maternity and Acute services, or Maternity only, depending on your background and the service's needs. The contract runs from as soon as possible through to the end of 2026, with a minimum duration of approximately 12 weeks and potential to extend further.

Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife or Registered Midwife with AHPRA




Demonstrated experience in maternity care, labour and delivery, or postnatal nursing
Ability to work effectively in a regional health setting with a cooperative, multidisciplinary team
Solid clinical assessment and communication skills, particularly in supporting women and families
Flexibility to adapt to acute care responsibilities if required by the role

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Midwifery (or equivalent), with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or specialist training in Midwifery or Maternal and Child Health
Current CPR and emergency response certification appropriate to the role
