The Grand Hotel Healesville is looking for an experienced and reliable Crowd Controller to join our team for regular Friday and Saturday night shifts .

We're a country pub in a small community , so we're looking for someone who understands that valuable security is as much about people skills as it is crowd control .
/n
You'll need to be friendly and approachable with our regulars, know how to read a situation, and be experienced enough to step in calmly when needed. We're not looking for a nightclub-style approach - we want someone who understands the relaxed, community feel of a country pub while still keeping our staff and patrons secure.

The role includes:
/n
/n
/n
Friday & Saturday night shifts
/n
/n
Regular ongoing work
/n
/n
Monitoring the bar, beer garden and surrounding areas
/n
/n
Keeping an eye on patron behaviour and RSA issues
/n
/n
De-escalating situations calmly before they become a problem
/n
/n
Assisting staff with refusing entry or removing patrons when necessary
/n
/n
Helping us maintain a safe, friendly environment for everyone
/n
/n
About you:
/n
/n
/n
Current Victorian Crowd Controller licence
/n
/n
Experienced in pub, bar or hospitality security
/n
/n
Reliable and punctual
/n
/n
Confident without being confrontational
/n
/n
Friendly, approachable and able to have a laugh
/n
/n
Valuable judgement and solid communication skills
/n
/n
Someone who understands country pub culture and a close-knit community
/n
/n
