The Competition Manager position exists to give effect to that licence: to plan, administer and deliver a secure, well-run and professionally presented competition that meets NSWTF and TFA playing rules, policies and standards, while growing the performance of the competition and supporting the Affiliate's role in developing the sport in its region of NSW.
Competition Delivery & Operations
Operate and deliver the Competition in accordance with the TFA Playing Rules (or any TFA-approved adaptation), the Competition Management Agreement, and all applicable TFA regulations and policies.
Venue Management
Secure and maintain the rights to access all Venue(s) required to conduct the Competition, and meet any fees payable to Venue operators.
Ensure Venues meet reasonable standards of safety and suitability, and - where practicable - the standards set out in the TFA Playing Rules.
Referees & Workforce
Recruit, roster and provide all referees required for the Competition.
Engage and manage competition-night Personnel (paid or volunteer) needed to administer the Competition.
Financial & Reporting
Collect all Participant revenue and be responsible for all fees and costs of operating the Competition.
Distribute revenue to the Affiliate in line with the licence terms set out in the Competition Management Agreement, where applicable thresholds are met.
The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain the appropriate First Aid and CPR qualifications, National Police/Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and current Driver Licence.
Conditions
This position operates within the framework of the Competition Management Agreement between the relevant Competition Manager entity and Affiliate, and does not create an employment relationship between the Affiliate and the Competition Manager organisation. Specific employment terms, remuneration and reporting lines for this role are set by the employing organisation.
8 - 12 hours per week, pending number of teams. On site - up to 2 - 4 hours. Off site - Up to 5 hours.
