Machine Operator
Casual role with view to perm - ASAP starts
Day shift 6 am-4 pm Mon -Thurs, Friday overtime if required
$40+ per hour depending on skills and experience

The Company
Our client supplies a diverse range of interior acoustic products to markets all over the world, featuring walls and ceilings to customised screens. With their focus being on sustainability, they manufacture using fibres made from recycled materials!
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
Operate ART Router, WARDJet Water Cutter, Zund and other cutting machinery as required.
Check materials for quality, quantity, size and colour before production.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Pack completed products neatly and prepare them for dispatch.
Follow all health and safety requirements and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous CNC machine operating or production experience, with a robust mechanical aptitude.
Current forklift licence with previous forklift operating experience.
Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual handling.
Solid attention to detail with valuable problem-solving skills.
Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn, with a positive attitude.
Solid communication skills with the ability to work well within a team and follow all OH&S; procedures.
Hours & Pay Rate:
Day shift hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am till 4pm, Friday O/T as required
Rate: $40+ per hour depending on skills and experience + super
