Our sustained growth is the product of superior service and dedication to continuously improving to every facet of our business.What you will be responsible for:Lead and develop a team of 10 across Sales and Operations, aligned with Vulcan's culture and valuesBe visible and approachable, demonstrating leadership and interacting with team membersEnsure individual roles, duties, responsibilities, objectives and performance against objectives are clearly communicatedLeads sales and operational planning and implementationTo develop, maintain and grow our customer base with significant face to face customer interactionsMeeting assigned targets for profitable pricing sales and strategic objectivesMonitor and understand competitors' sales and strategies, and campaignsProvide and promote a high level of customer service to all Vulcan accountsResponsible for all day-to-day operational functionsResponsible for purchasing and stock control / inventory systemEnsure the warehouse is efficientOrders picked accurately,



safely & quicklyEnsure the Vulcan site is a healthy and safe work site and complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.RequirementsExperience in a leadership role, ideally within the industrial sector.Previous experience with full P&L; management advantageousDriving a high-performance culture of continuous improvementProven ability to manage and grow teams, while exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs).
